Lineups for NLCS: Game 4 - Phillies @ Giants

Before I get to the lineups I want to just say this.  I find it interesting that Giants fans are okay with continually playing Andres Torres when he has done nothing in the past two months.  In fact, this is what drives me nuts about Giants fans they are sometimes too emotionally invested with the players.  It’s similar to when John Bowker got traded and everyone was mad because we traded him.  While I am on what pisses me off, the other thing is the fans inability to gauge fly balls and think that every ball in the air is a homerun.  Is it that hard to gauge that a pop up to the center fielder?

Anyway, back to my point.  Torres had done nothing in the past few months and for some reason most fans are still on board with playing him.  I have no problem with Aaron Rowand playing in his spot since he has done more in one game then Andres Torres has done all post-season.  Plus, Rowand has the experience and has been there which is a rarity on this team.

Now onto the news of the day.  Pablo Sandoval is in at third base and Juan Uribe is getting the day off.  He has clearly been affected by his injury and wasn’t even hitting that great before the injury.  Pablo is a wild card.  He could have a great game and hit the ball all over the field or he could strike out four times and look ridiculous.  Personally, I think we are in for the good Panda today.

Huff is back in the three hole against the righty, maybe his hit yesterday will get him out of the slump.

And for Charlie Manuel, he has taken out the ineffective Raul Ibanez and put in Ben Francisco.  I doubt there is much effect there.
