Tommy Lasorda not excited for the Giants World Series Victory

For some reason, a reporter in Visalia found it necessary to ask former Los Angeles Dodgers’ manager, Tommy Lasorda, his thoughts about the Giants’ World Series victory while he was at a banquet in Visalia on Wednesday. Anyone who knows anything about the Giants-Dodgers rivalry would know that Lasorda would not be happy about the Giants success. It is no different, then if you asked me if I would want the Dodgers to win a World Series.

When asked the question Lasorda pretended not to hear the question but then finally decided to give the reporter what he wanted to hear.

"Who was that? I didn't hear that. What was that?," said Lasorda jokingly. "Well it took them 50 years. It may take them 50 more, I don't know. They had a great year and they have a good manager. They did a good job. They played exciting baseball. They have a good pitching staff so that's enough about them."
