NFL Injury Report: Raiders-Steelers (Friday)

The final injury report is out for the Oakland Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers.  For the first time all season, the entire 53-man roster was on the practice field.  Yes, that includes Chaz Schilens.  Schilens is listed out for this game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and will likely be out next week against the Miami Dolphins.  It sounds like only one of the players that are listed as questionable will be playing as well.  Zach Miller confirmed with the local media that he would be playing.

Oakland

Out: WR Chaz Schilens (knee)
Questionable: CB Nnamdi Asomugha (ankle), DT John Henderson (foot), WR Darrius Heyward-Bey (hamstring), TE Zach Miller (foot)

Pittsburgh

Out: S Will Allen (concussion), DE Aaron Smith (triceps)
Questionable: DE Brett Keisel (hamstring)
Probable: CB Crezdon Butler (quad), G Chris Kemoeatu (ankle), S Troy Polamalu (achilles), LB Lawrence Timmons (hip), WR Hines Ward (concussion)

Raiders injury news

Here's some news from Tom Cable's conference call today with the media:

-It looks like that Jason Campbell's injury was a bit serious than expected.  He is supposed to be re-evaluated this week after getting an MRI and x-ray's today.  He will not play Thursday in the final preseason game.

-Michael Bush will have surgery done on his thumb and could possibly play in the season opener on Sept. 12 against Tennessee.

-Chaz Schilens is out 3-6 weeks and should be able to be back by mid-season.  If the Raiders hope to have a successful season they will need Schilens back sooner than later.
